Saving and reusing your own coaching prompts

The Custom template lets you write your own instructions for the coach. Instead of retyping the same prompt every time, you can save it once and reuse it whenever you need it.

Save a prompt

  1. Open Settings and find Your prompts.
  2. Add a new prompt: give it a short name and write the instructions you want the coach to follow.
  3. Save it. It now appears in your list, ready to reuse.
  4. Edit or delete a saved prompt anytime from the same list.

Use a saved prompt in a session

  1. When starting a coaching session, choose the Custom template.
  2. Tap the prompt picker above the text field.
  3. Select one of your saved prompts, and the text field fills in automatically.
  4. You can still edit the text before starting; this only changes it for this session, not your saved version.

Good to know

  • Each saved prompt needs a unique name.
  • Editing a saved prompt in Settings updates it everywhere you use it going forward, but doesn't change a session that already started.
  • If you used a custom prompt for a session, your coaching analysis afterward keeps a copy of the exact wording you used. See Reviewing your coaching analysis.

Tip

Save a few prompts for the conversation types you have often (a specific type of client call, a recurring review format) so starting a session becomes a single tap.
