Fine-tuning voice detection for your score

Your Live-Coach Score needs to tell when you're actually speaking versus staying quiet, to measure things like pauses and how much of the conversation you're taking up. By default, this adjusts itself automatically to the noise around you.

Automatic detection (default)

Meetfy continuously adapts to your environment (a quiet room versus a noisy café), so voice detection stays accurate without you having to do anything.

Adjust it manually

If automatic detection doesn't feel right for your situation, you can take control:

  1. Open the voice-detection setting, either in coaching setup before a session or from the score breakdown during a live one.
  2. Turn off automatic detection.
  3. Use the sensitivity slider to set your own level: lower if quiet moments are being missed, higher if background noise is being picked up as speech.

Good to know

  • This setting only affects how the score measures your voice activity; it has no effect on the coach's ability to understand and transcribe the conversation.
  • You can switch back to automatic detection at any time.
  • Adjustments made during a live session take effect immediately.

Tip

If your score's balance reading looks off in a particular environment (for example, a persistently noisy space), try manual sensitivity before assuming the conversation itself was unbalanced.
