# Getting reminded to prepare

It's easy to forget to prepare for a meeting when your day gets busy. If enabled, Meetfy can send you a reminder shortly before an upcoming meeting starts.

## How it works

1. Make sure notifications are turned on for Meetfy. See [Managing notifications](https://www.meetfy.ai/en/helpcenter/settings/managing-notifications).
2. Shortly before a booked meeting begins, you'll receive a notification prompting you to prepare.
3. Tap the notification to jump straight into that meeting's preparation screen.

## Good to know

- Reminders are only sent for meetings you haven't already prepared, so you won't be reminded about ones you've already handled.
- Each meeting is reminded once, so you won't receive repeated notifications for the same meeting.
- This reminder relies on push notifications being enabled on your device as well as in the app.

## Troubleshooting

- **Not receiving reminders** Check that notifications are enabled both in Meetfy's settings and in your device's system settings for the app.
