# Understanding credits

Meetfy uses a credit balance to pay for live coaching. It's the same balance you may already use elsewhere in your account or TuCalendi account, there's no separate mobile-only wallet.

## What credits are for

Live coaching is metered by the minute: each minute of an active coaching session uses a small amount of credit from your balance. Recording and photo captures don't use credits.

## Check your balance

1. Open Settings.
2. Your current credit balance is shown in the account section.

Your balance also updates live during a coaching session, so you always know where you stand.

## Good to know

- Because the balance is shared with the web account, topping up in the app also benefits any other place that uses the same balance, and vice versa.
